Description
This outstanding wine continues to impress me. As you know I am not normally a fan of Cabernet Sauvignon, that is usually because there is so much mediocre Cabernet out there and when I do get a good one it is too expensive! This however, ticks all the boxes.
This wine has a complex nose of plum, cherry and cassis; with a touch of cedar wood and vanilla. There are palate flavours of blackcurrant, raspberry, redcurrant and plum jam. Ripe tannins provide a lengthy finish. Unique, well made, delicious and overall a very good red.
Best enjoyed after being decanted for at least 45 minutes to allow the flavours to fully open up.
