Description
A high-class aperitif, this sweet Gewurztraminer is harvested overripe on the heights of the Altenberg hillside in Bergheim. Its fine and delicate bouquet gives off enchanting aromas of flowers (peony, rose, jasmine), very ripe exotic fruits (lychee, mango) as well as subtle notes of oriental spices. On the palate, it impresses with its power and length while retaining its freshness and mineral side typical of the terroir. Its mouth reveals aromas of overripe fruits and gives this wine a lot of indulgence.
Grapes for the production of their Vendanges Tardive are picked late, once affected by the noble rot, to produce a rich aromatic wine with great concentration and depth. Intense nose of lychees, tropical fruits and spicy notes. Rich and sweet on the palate with a refreshing acidity and great length.
