The Fiano grapevine has been growing on the hills of lrpinia since Samnites Hirpini lived there, before the Roman conquest. As the bees were attracted by the sweetness of these grapes, Plinio named them “Apiane” grapes. The grapevine, cultivated in the heart of Avellino’s province, is perfectly in harmony with the environment. The Fiano, with his unmistakable aromatic features, is one of the few white wines worthy of ageing.
