Description
The red that thinks its a white! affectionately known as alcoholic Ribena.
This is my most popular wine by far, it bursting with blackcurrant and is often served from the fridge.
Made from Dornfelder grapes which a pressed and after a short while with skin contact they are removed allowing colour to come into the wine but very little tannin. The fermentation is stopped just before all the natural grape sugar is fermented allowing a slight sweetness to remain. this goes well with Asian food but is also good on the patio with friends!
