Craggy Range is a family owned winery specialising in the production of expressive single vineyard wines. While the Te Muna (secret place) vineyard is located outside the township of Martinborough, the vines are grown on the old stony soils of the Martinborough Terrace. The grapes are hand-picked, pressed as whole bunches and cool fermented to retain aromatic characters. The result is a wine with a combination of poise, elegance and hidden power all wrapped up in a juicy texture. Its excellent structure. if you like Sauvignon Blanc give this a go the acidity and freshness but instead of Gooseberries on the palate it is more like a cox’s apple.
